Everyone in the world right now want to be suddenly rich like Davido or Wizkid, but they fail to realize something, and what is that? Many persons today, especially the growing youth fail to understand that these rich music artistes all started from somewhere.

Some of these musicians had no idea that they would sing music one day. Some of them were really poor, but as we know, our God works in mysterious ways. They are now celebrities and they can take care of themselves and also help others.

Let's check out the old jobs of some of our wealthy celebrities;

Don Jazzy was drummer boy and security guard:

The Marvin's boss disclosed his story saying that he was in London when he played drums for a local church upon the invitation of his uncle, there he also got a job as a security guard at McDonalds. This was quite an adventure for him.

Timaya was a Plantain seller.

This is surely the most popular story of a Nigerian celebrity rise to fame we've heard. Timaya shared his story in a song as he rose from being an ordinary plantain seller in the street of Port - Harcourt to one of the biggest artiste in the state.

Tonto Dikeh Errand girl and cleaner:

This Nollywood actress was able to cover all her need and essentials in school and had to beg friends for assistance in return she would clean their room or do their course works as the case may be. She shared her story on Instagram sometimes ago.

Mercy Johnson Housemaid

The Nollywood actress was once quoted saying, "When i recall my humble beginning, I give thanks to God. When I remember how we moved into an uncompleted building and had to take cover whenever it rained because of the condition of the house, how my brother did a menial job like bricklaying to earn a living and I, a housemaid those days when we rolled over a stick to cover the windows up till the point when I started acting and cover the roof".

Greatness starts with just your little enough. Do your bit and leave the rest for God.
